Publications to be printed as scholarly peer-reviewed articles must be original and up-to-date.

The writer and influential people in the journal (editor-in-chief, members of the editorial board, internal director, editor, publisher) must accept and agree on the code of ethics of the journal.

Ethical Policies The two scientific journals "Thinking and Child" are voluntarily based on the principles of the International Ethics Committee of COPE and also observe the ethical charter of the publications of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran and consider themselves bound by the principles of professional ethics. Authors, judges, academic secretaries and editors in compliance with this publication must adhere to these ethical principles.

Excerpts from the Ethical Principles of Article Writing

The article must be original (not translated, adapted, etc.).
The contribution of each author should be carefully defined.
References are accurate.
Quotes should be fully specified.
The article should be compiled according to the needs in its own field.
Original sources (references to handicrafts and online sources are not allowed).
The author has carefully read the terms of the publication.
Quoting the publication without mentioning the source is not prohibited.

 

Selection of conditions for receiving scientific articles by the journal

The journal welcomes the acceptance of authoritative research articles that contain new and non-adapted scientific material and points, and is exempt from publishing articles based on collection or translation.
The right to publish the article, after acceptance, is reserved for the publication and the author is not allowed to publish it in other domestic and foreign journals. Also, only articles that have not previously been published elsewhere will be published in the journal.
The journal is free to accept, reject, modify and edit received articles.
The initial acceptance of the article is conditional on the observance of the ethical principles of scientific writing and the conditions of the scientific compilation of the article. Final acceptance and publication of the article is subject to the approval of the judges, and in any case, the result will be announced to the author.

It is worth mentioning that the right to evaluate and prosecute plagiarism cases is reserved for Afaq Al-Hudhara Al-Islami quarterly. It should be noted that soon, the articles submitted will be reviewed through the Sinaob matching system.

According to the International Commission on Publication Ethics (COPE), plagiarism is the unintentional or unintentional use of words, ideas, phrases, claims, or citations of others without proper appreciation and explanation of the author, author, or speaker. Therefore, it is expected that the authors of scientific works in their work carefully record the use of the works of others and bring this use to the attention of the audience in a way that, in addition to maintaining honesty, is protected from accusations of fraud, negligence and plagiarism.

The following are examples of plagiarism:

Submit another article in your own name
Insert names of authors and researchers who have no role in the article.
Copy or duplicate significant portions of another article (even if the article is a duplicate without reference to one of the authors of the new article).
Design results from the research of others in your own name
Published a copy of an article by an author in several journals
Expressing incorrect results and contrary to scientific findings or distorting research results
Use of invalid data or manipulation of research data

Dealing with plagiarism

Cases of plagiarism are being investigated by the editors. In addition, in order to protect the credibility and efforts of other researchers, without any tolerance or waiver, considering the extent of plagiarism, the following will be dealt with legally:

The article will be rejected and will be removed from the sites if printed.
In a formal letter, the plagiarism case will be shared with other universities and related domestic and foreign publications.
An official letter will be notified to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, the ISC Islamic World Science Citation Database, universities, institutes, journals and any place where the authors have used the copyright in this article. .

 

Duties and responsibilities of the publication

Thinking and Child is committed to making decisions regarding submitted copies of articles based solely on professional judgments and away from personal interests.
This publication is committed to preserving academic and research records.
This publication monitors the observance of ethical principles by the editor, academic secretaries, editorial board and judges.
This publication is constantly reviewing articles to prevent plagiarism, fraud and possible abuse.
This publication will make the necessary corrections, explanations and withdrawals when needed.
This publication will deal with any abuse if it is proven.

Duties and responsibilities of editors and scientific teachers

The scientific editors of this journal must keep the submitted copies confidential until publication.
The editor, scientific secretaries and judges make the decisions regarding the publication or non-publication of a copy.
The scientific secretaries of this journal must preserve the principle of anonymity of the judges.
The scientific editors of this journal must avoid conflicts of interest.
The scientific editors of this journal are required to provide scientific protection and try to meet the scientific needs of their readers.
The scientific editors of this journal should identify plagiarism, fraud, and possible fraud, and provide corrections, explanations, and revocations and apologies as needed.
The scientific editors of this journal should focus their attention only on rational content.
The scientific editors of this journal should not disclose copy information to anyone other than authors, responsible authors and judges.
Unpublished copies will not be used for personal purposes by academic professors or other members.

 

The task of the Reviewers

1- Assistant Rapporteur in the Editorial Board

The Reviewers assist the editor-in-chief of the journal in studying the quality of the articles and their scientific level, or through the communication with the editorial members with the respected author, they can assist him in improving and raising the qualitative level of the content of the articles.

2- Speed of work

After the initial study of the article, the selected referees must inform to the head of the journal, the following factors:

The article is not arbitrated by the arbitrator because its subject is outside the scope of the arbitrator's work, or his time constraints, or...

Delaying arbitration due to lack of time, or lack of sufficient capabilities of the arbitrator and...

3- Confidentiality of information

All information in the articles must be confidential to the arbitrator, and the arbitrator should try to maintain its confidentiality.

4- The arbitrator presents sufficient documents and inferences in a clear and explicit manner, and presents these documents to journals and authors, and avoids arbitration based on a statement of personal point of view, personal taste, racial, sectarian, and others factors in his arbitration of articles.

5-Taking care of the references that were used in the article is one of the other tasks of the Reviewers. All research, topics and citations that were used in the article should be placed with full reference in the bibliography.

6- Not arbitrating articles for personal goals

The Reviewers should not accept the arbitration of articles which there can be interests of persons, institutions and private companies, or personal relationships are noted.

 

Authors tasks

1-Presentation of scientific articles that fit according the criteria of articles

The authors have to prepare the articles in a scientific, consistent manner that matches the specifications of the refereed articles, and the method of writing the article should be done accurately and objectively, and the data should be indicated correctly, by means of complete referral, and taking into account the rights of others in the article. And avoid showing sensitive and immoral topics, taste and personal, ethnic , sectarian, false and incorrect information, and translating literary works of others without mentioning the source of the quote in the article.

2- Displaying private data when needed

The author is intended to present and define the private data, interviews or questionnaires and the rest of the means used in the research when they are necessary. And obtaining this information in general (conformance to the ALPSP-STM declaration) helps to improve the level of articles.

3- The quality of the presented article

The presented articles by the authors must be the result of the effort of the author who presented the article, and any quotation or benefit from others peoples research must mention the name of the reference in his article.

4-Not publishing the article or article that was accepted and published at the same time

It is against the rules to display one article in several journals at the same time, or articles that have been published or accepted in other journals.

5- Mention all the references appropriately

Referral includes mentioning all books, publications, websites and other researches of persons in the bibliography.

Mentioning the responsible person and his assistants in writing the article, and being careful not to mention unrelated names, and the responsible person for the article is the one who plays a major role in preparing and planning the article, and the rest of the authors are also mentioned as assistants in writing the article, and they must have The original author of the article and the names and information of all the authors, and that shoudnt be others except for the authors of the article. The authors must also read the article as a whole and agree to present and publish it in this way.

Notice of potential dangers to humans and other living creatures

Any risks that the research poses to humans or other creatures must be clearly stated in the article.

Mention the financial supporter

The authors should also mention all the supporters of their articles.

Announcement of basic errors in articles

If the author becomes aware of any error or inaccuracy in his article at any time, he must inform the journal and take the initiative to correct the errors, or retrieve the article.

Examples of violations of the ethical principles of publication by the authors

Plagiarism: Plagiarism means the intentional use of another person's articles or ideas in one's own name. Using another person's sentence or even the author's previous sentences without mentioning the source is considered theft.

Data Making and Distortion: Data fabrication is when the researcher has not done a study in practice but provides data and conclusions. Distortion also occurs when conducting research but altering data and results.

Simultaneous submission: This is when a copy of an article is sent to two journals at the same time.

Duplicate submission: Occurs when two or more articles have the same hypotheses, data, and conclusions.

Duplicate submission: means dividing a study into multiple articles and submitting them.

Misrepresentation by another author: All authors whose names appear in the article should contribute to doing so. Otherwise, it is considered a violation.

Manipulation of resources: It is when in the last part of a copy of several sources are mentioned, while the content of the text does not include their names.

 

Costs of reviewing, judging and publishing articles

According to the regulations of scientific and research publications of the Publications Commission of the Ministry of Science and also the approval of the board of directors of the Institute of Humanities and Cultural Studies (25/06/2012, No. 54/6/91), a fee is received for receiving, reviewing and publishing articles.
